Reported experience
The report describes WhatsApp messages from a sender who knew the recipient's name. The company attribution is not verified, and knowing a name does not establish a sender's identity.
The entry does not provide a reporting date or verify the number's current owner. The locality and name are reproduced from the report, not confirmed identification or an official contact recommendation. Confirm any claimed organisation through a contact channel obtained independently.
Knowing your name does not confirm who is messaging
The note does not explain how the name was obtained or why the message was sent. It does not establish a connection to Toyota, identify a dealership, or document a vehicle offer or payment request. On its own, it also does not prove fraud or a data leak.
For a similar message, ask for the organisation or dealership name and the specific reason for contacting you. Check the information independently: Toyota Argentina's contact page (in Spanish) provides access to customer support and its dealer locator. Do not send documents, bank details or money solely because someone addresses you by name. These are general precautions, not requests documented in this case.
The entry for 2225 51-1309 records the same observation about WhatsApp and the recipient's name. That similarity does not establish that both contacts came from the same person or organisation.
No outcome is recorded. A useful contribution could explain the stated purpose and when it happened, with names, identity documents and other private details hidden in any screenshots.
Editorial review: . This dates the expanded article, not the original message.
