Before downloading or running a program, read its description, requirements and available instructions. Check compatibility with your version of Windows and make a backup if you plan to change important files or your computer's settings.

Choose by the task you want to carry out. Each link opens the program's page, with instructions and downloads; the limitations below help you decide whether it fits your situation.

Software and games for Windows

• Trivia in Spanish — For playing a question-and-answer game. A Spanish-language game covering topics such as geography, history, nature and entertainment. Its page explains installation, the published rules and version history. The English guide is not an English-language edition of the game.
• DBVerifyLog — For reviewing Oracle data files and their logs. Brings together DBVERIFY results for individual files. It is intended for people administering those data files and requires DBVERIFY to be installed; it is not an automatic repair tool or a check of every database file.
• FileGrouper — For distributing files into folders. Lets you choose how many files to group, with a worked example in its guide. It moves files: make a backup and test with copies before using it in your working folder.
• HasStoppedWorking — For controlling the application-stopped-working notification. Its guide shows how to disable and re-enable that window. Hiding the notification does not repair the program, prevent its crashes or recover unsaved work.
• ResolutionFix — For reviewing text that looks too small in an application. The guide explains how to select the affected program's executable and apply the adjustment. It is not a universal solution to every display problem; a reversal procedure is still awaiting documentation.

Before choosing a download

• Check that program's requirements. The programs do not all share the same Windows versions, permissions or dependencies. For DBVerifyLog, the Oracle and DBVERIFY installation also matters.
• Read what the tool changes. Grouping files, hiding a notification and adjusting application text are different tasks. If a tool does not match your problem, do not apply changes simply to try it out.
• Follow the instructions for your chosen format. Consult each program's download and installation section before opening an EXE or extracting a ZIP. Do not disable your computer's protections to force a program to run.
