Reported experience

The report describes a call offering a discount, which the author associates with an intention to switch providers. The caller's identity, offer and reason for contacting the recipient have not been independently confirmed.

The entry does not provide a reporting date or verify the number's current owner. The locality and name are reproduced from the report, not confirmed identification or an official contact recommendation. Confirm any claimed organisation through a contact channel obtained independently.

How to interpret the reported discount

The original account links the contact to a possible change of provider, but does not document a number-porting request, its status or an actual discount applied to a bill. It does not establish that everyone considering a switch will receive a similar offer.

For a proposal like this, ask for the terms in writing:

• What would be discounted: the monthly plan, an extra service or a one-off charge?
• What amount would be payable, how long would the benefit last and what terms would apply afterwards?
• Would the existing plan remain unchanged, or would a different plan be required? Which bill would first show the benefit?

The account does not answer these questions. Before deciding, you can check the proposal through Movistar's official help site (in Spanish), independently of the caller's instructions. This reference is a way to enquire, not evidence that the reported number belongs to the company.

The outcome of the proposal is not recorded. This entry neither advertises a current discount nor, on its own, establishes a scam.
