How Mercado Envíos Flex works in Argentina

Mercado Envíos Flex is a seller-managed delivery option that can support same-day or next-day delivery in eligible areas. The seller organises transport, rather than treating Flex as the Full fulfilment service in which Mercado Libre stores and dispatches stock.

Who organises the deliveries?

The original guide described sellers delivering parcels themselves or hiring a courier. It also described configuring delivery days, schedules and participating listings, including weekend arrangements where available. Do not assume every account, product or location has the same options: check the settings and promises actually offered to you.

Mercado Libre's official Argentina Flex overview (Spanish) is the reference for service coverage and conditions. This article does not promise a sales increase or a particular position in search results because a listing offers fast delivery.

The workflow in the original account

  1. Print the shipping label and attach it to the package.
  2. Use the Envíos Flex mobile app to scan the label's QR code and organise the delivery.
  3. Travel to the buyer's address; the original account mentioned Google Maps and enabled phone location.
  4. At the destination, record delivery through the app, or report why delivery could not be completed.

The original described an Entregar (“Deliver”) action, selecting whether the recipient was the buyer or a family member, and entering a DNI identity-document number. Treat that as a description of the interface used then, not a guarantee of today's exact screens. Follow the current official app's requirements and handle recipient information only through the authorised delivery process.

Courier authorisation has conditions

The older account described a daily authorisation code found in desktop selling preferences when handing parcels to a courier, and claimed it could not be obtained on a phone. That is not a reliable universal instruction for the current service.

Mercado Libre's delivery-management advice (Spanish) tells couriers to begin the route in the app before leaving the seller's address. Its dispatch-address guidance (Spanish) explains how registered addresses affect requests for verification codes. Consult the current account workflow instead of assuming a code is always required or that the old menu path is unchanged.

Costs and settlement

The source described paying a courier in advance and later receiving a shipping credit from Mercado Libre. Preserve that as the author's arrangement, not a universal payment timetable or guaranteed reimbursement. Confirm courier charges, platform credits, failed-delivery conditions and settlement timing before agreeing to a service.
