Before continuing: identify the exact warning
This guide covers the ink pad nearing the end of its service life message shown in the original screenshots below. It is not a general solution for every Epson L355 error. If the warning allows you to continue with Copy, that does not remove the need for maintenance.

Has your Epson L355 stopped printing and displayed a warning about an ink pad nearing the end of its service life? The original article shows this message in EPSON Status Monitor 3 for the L355 Series (Network).
The warning shown
The Spanish message in the screenshot says that an ink pad is almost at the end of its service life, asks you to contact Epson support and instructs you to press the printer's Copy button to continue printing.

The original article also reminds readers that the ink pad will need replacing. Continuing temporarily does not remove that maintenance requirement. Follow the warning for your own printer and contact Epson support; this page does not provide a counter-reset procedure or instructions to bypass a service requirement.
Which button the photo shows and when to use it
The arrow in our original image points to the colour Copy button. For the ink-pad warning discussed here, the L355 manual's light-status section allows continuing with either the black-and-white or colour Copy button and also directs you to Epson support.
- Confirm that the printer is an L355 and compare the entire message with the screenshot, rather than matching a single word or illuminated light.
- If the warning offers to continue printing, follow that instruction using one of the Copy buttons. This guide does not require button combinations or holding a button down for several seconds.
- If printing cannot continue or a different message appears, save a screenshot and consult support. Do not assume the same action resolves another error.
Continuing to print is not the same as repairing the pad
Completing another print job does not mean the maintenance issue has been resolved. Epson explains that printing stops when the pads reach the end of their service life and assistance is needed. The warning alone does not tell us how many additional pages the printer might allow.
Should you flush the ink tubes to remove this warning?
Do not use flushing as a response to this message. The L355 manual's ink-tube flushing section describes it for certain print-quality problems and warns that it uses ink and fills the pads sooner. It does not repair the pads.
Information to prepare for technical support
Have the model, the exact warning, a photo of the indicator lights and whether Copy still allows printing ready. This helps describe the case without confusing it with low ink or a paper jam. This page does not provide dismantling or counter-reset instructions.
